Johnny Depp welcomes a duet with Barry Manilow.

The Hollywood star revealed he would jump at the chance to sing with the 64-year-old 'Mandy' singer.

Speaking about his lead role in musical 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,' he told Envelope magazine, "I don't think I would have attempted this kind of project with anyone but a director like Tim Burton.

"But if there's a chance of doing a duet with Barry Manilow now, then I'm in!"

Depp previously admitted he was unsure of his own singing talents before signing up for the film.

The 44-year-old star said, "I knew I wasn't tone deaf but I didn't know if I'd really be able to hold the notes or belt out a tune."

But Burton claims Depp "exceeded all expectations" with his vocal performances.

He said, "I always had every confidence in him and he needn't have worried at all.

"His performance was wonderful and exceeded all of my expectations. He is a great actor."
