Yes, emotionally drained is a good way
to express the feeling one has after experiencing
Johnny's Sweeney Todd.

He has attained a new level...and we
are experiencing an evolution in him I think.

It is exciting to watch him mature.

(However, I do not embrace that same excitement
watching my own self *cough* mature.)

My DH keeps asking me if I am ever going to grow up...my response is you have known me for 25 years since I was 18 have you seen any sign of maturity yet....He always responds no....my response well then I wouldn't hold your breath...I am happy to admit that at times I can behave like a teenager...me and my kids are hopeless together and DH just rolls his eyes...

Unfortunately my skin is not holding up quite as well as my personality and is starting too look a little like it needs ironed here and there...and thank god for hair dye

Yes, and I find that going out under
cover of darkness is helpful !

My DS and I are kindred and our
funny stuff is a delight. He makes me
laugh...we share the same vision of life's ironies.

But the wrinkled skin thing is a bitch, ain't it?
Hate it...and honestly? I don't think any of the
miracle wrinkle reducing products work.
Perhaps, maybe if we 'drank' the Oil of Olay?

Well I am just happy that I haven't wrinkled too much yet..my mum looked like a lizard at my age but she used to smoke like a chimney and spend hours in the sun with no sunblock....I have never done either...but it is starting to crack here and there and I don;t think I can convince myself for too much longer that it is laughter lines...how the hell does Johnny stay so young looking ...if he could bottle it I would buy it..

Thank you for your concern CC and Beanie....I got terribly sick at midnight last night to the point were I had to go to the ER for fluids for dehydration...I feel a little better now but still achy all over...and my skin even hurts...wtf

You were right cc...your body does tell speak to you and man it really spoke to me all night! Enough said

I don't think it's fair at all that the day I can't be at JDa is the day my Abby is frisking everyone....not fair at all..:devilnana:

I'm too ill to stay so he better be around tomorrow is all I can say..lol

Well, Hunnies... I know it was a shock to see the end of Sweeney that way... I was so horrified and yet at the same time enraptured... Not sure that is the right word... but you just can't LOOK AWAY, if you get my drift? How sick is that? It IS a beautiful end scene and so very well done... but me... I just can't live with it like that... (and I've seen it fricking 10 times now...!!!!!!!!!!) so if anyone wants an alternate ending... PM me... I have one... I wrote it JUST FOR ME - cos I am what the Earl would call a greedy c word. Just for FUN, you understand... cos I didn't like to see poor Sweeney end that way. He's too beautiful to end like that. Sorry, but he is. I just can't have it, savvy?
