Morning me dahlings~ It's hump day but ya know, just before I sat here in front of my comp to
write my lil heart out...the 'nudges' that were left over from yesterday melted into one lovely deep Depp sigh~

Kaz posted Lainey's wonderfully written commentary of Johnny and Vanessa on the red carpet. Lainey is a
*cough* gossip columnist from up here in Canada but she is bright and funny with an edge that doesn't
grate on my last nerve. I like her, truth be told.

Here is an excerpt or two...

"They had their hands clasped the entire time, almost always side by side. If anything it
seems like she’s the one steadying him."

Then this...

"Like when they stopped at the photo wall directly behind us. The photogs were yelling at them
to split up so they could shoot Vanessa alone in her dress. The couple was reluctant at first,
and then with seemingly great difficulty, Vanessa stepped forward to pose. Johnny too obliged for
a few shorts seconds before retreating behind his handler and ducking away from the cameras
to watch and wait for Vanessa.

While he was watching, someone stopped to say a few words. He turned and a moment later,
she wrapped up and went to rejoin him. As soon as she took her first step – and she was at least
10 steps from reaching him – he automatically knew to reach one hand behind and kept it there,
stretched out, palms wide, waiting for her to clasp it.

So she came up from behind him and with her right hand caressed from his right hip, palm open
across his ass, with pressure, and then tucked it into his left hand. He squeezed without missing
a beat in his conversation."

*melts*

So that is where my head and heart are at. It is a fairy tale, ladies. A wonderfully true fairy tale.

Thanks Babsy for opening up this a.m. I actually had a great night with one exception - we lost power for a little while. Since I was in the throes of Sweet Johnny Dreams I barely noticed. But the alarm went off on time (drat!) so I'll be heading to the office on time too. I doubt there are many treasures still out there waiting to be discovered and yes, you probably wonder if I actually work there.. yes, but it's a feast or famine type job anymore and I do need distraction...

I loved the Lainey news article as well. Brought actual tears to my eyes. They are so perfect together.

What a sweetie. And I enjoyed the sweet story
about him with Vanessa as well. It described their
relationship better than any I've ever heard prior.
Lainey's observations were spot on and reveal
the beauty of the love between Johnny and Vanessa.
Tis the subtle things that typically go unnoticed,
unless you are truly a romantic and then, holding
hands can be as erotic as something even more intimate.
Their love is genuine and everlasting.
