Well, why am I here this early you say?
Well, I say back to you. I got up for work like the good lil drone I am, only to find that it is still f'ing snowing
(yes cc...50cm is a helluva lot of snow) so,
called in and got the " but don't you live in town" smarmy remarks. Look chicky, tis not only the people out in the county that got snowed on you know.
I do not care that you made it in with your freaking truck.
I do not posess a truck, nor do I want to.
Telling me half the staff has called in does not make me feel anymore like coming in.
They didn't come in cause we are not gonna kill ourselves for you twits.
The world will not come to an end if the work piles up for an extra day, or two.
Me and my lil car are staying buried so take that and shove it up your hemmy.
(course this was said in my mind as I yeah yeah yeah'd the bitch ) anyhoo.
We live in fricking Canada, do we have to go through the
excuses and bitching every fricking winter.
All deppends*on who answers the phone when you call in,
not my lucky call this a.m. I got the trucker/farmer beeeatch.
I have a day off, up early, what to do what to do.
No point in shovelling, still snowing, did I mention that already?
So, guess I shall tackle the indoor snow, dust, dog hair, laundry, dishes, etc etc. Does the fun never end?

He could just bout make it on my roof with no boosting required. Maybe he's waiting, I'm only at a fresh new 35cm so far,

Morning dear ones!
While Fanny is talking snow, we've got the rain.
The trees are hanging low, drenched.
Flooding in some parts (not by me, thank goodness)
but looks like we're ready to build the ark.
I know tis nothing like the tons of snow
some of you have had, but tis all I got for news. teehee

It does make it interesting for travel for later when
we meet up with Babs and Mr. Babs. But no worries,
we'll be fine and leave extra travel time heading
into the big apple. Maybe even drive passed the Waldorf
and wave to Brangelina.

Oh! Just got a text message form our fearless Hut
leader. She said that they stopped in Syracuse, NY
and stayed over, and now, back on the road and on
their way.

Well, off to grab some breakie and more cuppa
and start the day with a smile

I have to sit on my DS today. He has a ton
of work due for one teacher who is ruling
the classroom in absentia; she is a snuffer
of creativity...and I follow me mum's advice
about 'boys' ~ She said, "You have to keep
at 'em to make 'em keep at it !"

And so, since my self rule is to not let my kid
drive himself into the ditch under the influence
of laziness or ignorance of age, I shall be
standing by to answer questions and offer
sustenance to promote a good outcome.

(In other words, I shall be at the ready with
sandwiches and soup whilst threatening to
take away his online computer game forever
if he doesn't get his work done!)

I don't know if I'll get to see Sweeney tonight.
I'll see how the day goes.

Yep, the boys need that extra push of
encouragement. Did mine in much the same way as you.
Sometimes it worked, sometimes his Bohemian mom
sided with him, which wasn't getting his work done
so I'm not sure I was the best example for school work.
Nevertheless, he is his own person now with clear thinking
and opinions and is doing what he wants to do.
I am proud of him.

Wow you all really had a great time last night!! I haven't read it yet but 9 pages good golly miss molly!

Anyhoooo......I had a friend pop over for a visit last night and they stayed till bedtime so I didn't get a chance to sneak in here after my one post last night. Wish I had though, looks like I missed a good time.

Talk about homework CC I'm in the same boat...sorta....DD is student of the week starting Monday. We've got to make posters and collect show and tell crap etc etc....Anyway busy work for sure

And still painting, painting, painting! Will get started on kids bathroom and hallway. Then I have to paint the accent colored walls and my one RED wall! I'm excited to do that one! I love red!!

Does anybody wanna come help??

My dad asked if when I was done if I'd come help him paint his house! waaaah

I have no new snow. The sun is shining. It's colder than the Arctic,
but, I just have the old snow frozen out there.
It missed me this time. For once, I'm not getting piled on.

been spending the day throwing out the forest of old shit i have been dragging around.. 4+ lawn and leaf bags of clothes i dont need and 6 bags of old mail. OLD MAIL.. wtf?? why did i not do this three years ago??

Jim is home and walking 4 miles a day already ( he wore a pedometer in the Hosp and was doing 77 laps a day after surgery.. hahahaha crazy bastard.)

hsi last surgery was like removing a mole compared to the last one by far.
just sprung him from the pokey and now we can get on with it !!! he is all bettah.. he even attempted to get phone numbers from girls while he was there.. hahaha yeah.. i want what he is on.

so... its Saturday... yay. Not that any day amtters.. they are all one big day to me now. I am just practicing to have 4/5 more children added to my kid count.. I thought I was in the home stretch here?? wtf wtf wtf.. oh well at least I will be living in a friggin resort.
