Well, we made the connection this morning at 3:00 am! We were told he wouldn't come out -- he was too tired, but when I looked up next, he was sauntering towards us, towards me!
He came to me first and we shook hands and chatted a quick minute then came back to me again and we did it again, chatted a bit more and then he was down the line...
Here are two videos... the first is one of two incidents where he waved from the vehicle.(I didn't film the second as I wasn't prepared and just watched) He actually stopped the second time for a moment due to traffic and I asked him, "How are you doing?" With a very weary voice and face he replied, "I'm doing okay." He was obviously sooo tired. (probably about 1:00 or 2:00 this morning) Yep, that's me saying, "Bye, thank you" and Trudy telling him we loved him.
This one you need to keep the audio down as I keep yelling for people to get out of the way!! You don't need sound anyway but I love the hugs.
I'll fill in the blanks later.
