Pirates Of The Caribbean star JOHNNY DEPP has spent nearly £40million to avoid prying eyes.
Johnny, 44, has bought all five houses surrounding his West Hollywood mansion for about £8million each so no one can spy on him and his family.
A source said: "You would have to trespass just to see his back fence."

well he bought the house next door for another famous soul.. for Betty Sues use and as far as i know there are only two or three still owned by other residents not related to JD on his street.
