You make that sound like it's a good thing, hmm,
Not only speechless, but timeless as well.
I am helping the NSDH with the dewings in the yard
No unfortunatley not that kind of dewings,
just the mundane raking, hauling, bagging
Tis a nice sunny day here, although a bit chilly.
So now that I have done my bit in the yard, I get to go
out on deck and transform middle dd's hair yet again,
this time she is going for a reddish type deal,
how it will come out over top the black, I dunno.
But, what can you do, they are the teens and know all,
I am just the putter onner of the dye.
Alright, I've checked in, I am breathing, don't want Wilma
to have to do any more worrying than she already does.
By the by wlw, I had the same thought as you aboot
chocs poem, the getting our arses outta bed no matter
what for the kids bit, yeah, been there, done that.
Course my arm has never been ripped out by a tractor,
but still, I hear ya.
Oh and the Jack pic, that's when he says in the jail
"that's interesting" which is why I went to all the trouble
of opening the damn phuckett and everything, and it was lost on youse guys.
Babs hates the term youse guys, not as much fun to say it
when she isn't here for it to bug.
K, rubber gloves call to me, days off are so much work

Why yes Debb, I do believe I see them, sticking out of your back,
however did they get there???
The lil doggy in the blue hat couldn't see
where he was going?
You were right choco, the red didn't take over the black,
except of course over her new growth, which is the natural colour of dirty blonde, my own true colour.
But alas, she says she doesnt want to be "dirty blonde,
can you please say dark blonde, it sounds like trampy mcskank hair" umm ok, whatever. So, she now has red inch at scalp,
under and over, and she loves it. I told her as my rubber
gloves dripped red dye, you've been Sweenied, a new saying.
I would take to the actual hairdresser to have it coloured,
but she changes her fricking mind every 3 weeks, so nuhuh,
good thing she likes the results, cause that's it for another few weeks.
K, off to read me new book, sip my spritzer, and wait till I am
hollered at to put something on for dinner.
I'm thinking, if I keep the pods in my ears,
dinner will somehow get made on its own.
Fingers crossed, not while dewing what Sands
does with his though, cause, ouch.

Choc, was the Jack D for you or a lure for DH to

Doesn't matter, anyway cuz you said it's all gone

Kk, you're doin' a roast? I'm making Stuffed Peppers--
but the ones the H got...I'm predicting will be bitter.
Too dark; too thick skinned. Oh well, I'll try to work
some kitchen magick on 'em
I just noticed my Forsythia are blooming today!!
Fanny -- you out doing yard work. Sigh. I have half
a block to tend. . . three lots go wif our house. The
side yard now has been designated by me as "the Field"
Let the violets have their way, says I. Weeds, schmeeds--
every living thing has its place !! (except centipedes)
I want to play.
I don't wanna do work.

See...I wanna play.Ah well, off to throw the rice and burger into the peppers.
Sigh.
Hey Debb. Yes, it does seem like our Dram knew
an awful lot 'bout HAIR, eh? I'm getting a picture
and I have to say...I like it. Hip huggers, anyone?
Cranberry and Pink; British Racing Green and Light Blue.
And can we all say Wheat Jeans?
omg, I gotta get to the kitchen * dodging flying knitting needles*

Morning all
Tis monday and I am exhausted at the thought of it.
We were supposed to do yard work all weekend but instead we went to Ikea on Saturday to buy youngest a desk and came home with a bed that is like a bunk bed but that has a desk underneath, a wardrobe and a set of draws....then yesterday we spent all day putting them together..now the little bugger has heaps of room and no excuses not to study...eldest decided he would clean his room out for the first time in months...this mostly seemed to involve moving all the stuff he no longer uses into my family room....so instead of taking all his bike crap out of there he added more crap...both the boys rooms look lovely and the rest of the house is now a tip...and more crap was thrown in the garden to get taken to the dump
Hmm instead of making things better I swear it has made things worse.....now I feel like we achieved nothing and yet I am exhausted.
cc WTF are wheat jeans??
I am loving the new pics of Johnny and his cup...that has to be one of the most travelled cups on the planet
Oh well time to keep moving...enjoy what is left of Sunday...btw..Monday appears to be bloody cold..I got my coat like Johnny's Dillinger one on and a big 80's scarf and fingerless gloves...oh I do believe it is winter at last.
Have a good one my friends.
Love you hunnies
LOVE YOU JOHNNY AND YOUR MUG....XXX

Beanie, Wheat Jeans was just a 'color'
like Blue Jeans...but in the 60s it was
a must have--at least in this part of
the USA. We wore Bass Weejuns shoes
(penny loafers) if we weren't wearing Keds
in colors to match our 'outfits'
omg.
we thought we looked so good.I did that for about one season.
Then I developed my "own" look...
and headed off to art school.
(See, Fanny? Some things never change~
You're applying red over black. She's just
lookin' for her "own" look.)
Shoes? What shoes
Are they Weejuns?
