G’mornin' to those in the new day!


My turn to put the Coffee on
and say I'm really thinking Spring here.
My daffies are blooming alongside the hyacinths,
robust in spite of the chill~
So meaningful to me to see them coming forth
each year . . . long before we moved in,
planted by my Great Aunt.

She’s long gone but ya see, her flowers live on.
Each Spring, as I see them throughout my
yards, I think of her with love.

She was one who gave something back.

Just like so many of you do everyday and,
of course, our BF who is so generous with his
time and smiles.


Tuesday is Twofer and it’s a pleasure always
to see what you Hunnies match up.

His characters live within ~



Filming in Oshkosh continues for several more days
thru the week and then, wenchie reports a
tentative next move to filming in Milwaukee ~

In the meantime? Tis business as usual here.

Youngest called saying I had lost a book he needs when I did his room on the weekend...I told him all the stuff he said he needed to keep was in the desk draw....he says he looked but couldn't find it....

When DH called to check I am still alive I told him and said "why do I have to live in a house full of men who can't find anything other than the zip in the front of their pants?" DH was not amused. His response, "you would have no fun if we couldn't find that." Gees MEN is that all they think about ROTFLOL

Do you think my whole family is mad...I do LOL

Hey, I heard that, or something along those lines. And I just want you to know I am only hear to say shoutout to PhavD, other than that, nuttin hunny.
I am off to work, and my own personal lappy is being taken
to get overhauled, booted and have her guts sucked by some sort of hose like devicesounds like a naughty weekend to me.
So I shall be sharing one comp with the whelps, hit and miss, hmm, sounds like Smitten and I are being done by the same guy,
not sure I like that, then again, could be fun,

Thanks for flipping the sign on the Hut door from OPEN AT NIGHT to
OPEN AT DAY (since the Hut never closes you know?)

Your memory of your aunt and her flowers brought on my own of my dad
(as well as the sound of leather....he was Auxilary Police and always loved
the sound of his leather holster...wierd, I know)

As for the flowers when I was 2, he was thrilled to save up and purchase
black tulip bulbs...just as they were about to bloom...yours truly picked every
last one....
Fast forward 24 years....as a 'memory' I give my dad black tulip bulbs, he plants
them...just as they are about to bloom...my 2-yr old neice picks every last one!!!

When he passed on, unbeknowst to me, my mother arrangedto have a black tulip
with my dad when she picked out the flowers. He will always have one now.

I heard that coffee grinder early today. I needed the help to wake up.

weekend. In any case I know you will have some fun!
Watching my weather map intently lately, trying to see what they are
getting in Wisconsin. It should be nice, but windy today, I hope that fits in
with their filming.

Beans, men can't find anything (but that), they are all alike in that respect.

eps, Debb, and cc...I only have the crocus up, a few other bulbs are
sending up their shoots, but no blooms for a while for me. I'm a few
weeks behind all of you springwise.

I'm off to hang laundry on the line, and then help my neighbor lady fill
out some paperwork.

Fanny ~ good to see you in here before your
whelp won't let you have the comp. Sorry
your lappy is getting sorted. Seems to be
something in the air with that. My DH had to
sweat over his mum's comp for days before
getting it fixed. I think more of the trouble has to do
with communication breakdown with tech support
out in tech suport land.
Wonder what Johnny does when his lappy gets a bug?
