Morning ladies. It is so good to be home, I have to say. I am typing this as quickly as I can
before our board goes through yet another resetting process. I don't know what you all managed
to do to the board while I was gone, but damn~! It must have been a frustrating week for everyone.
(except me, perhaps, but I DID have to power shop for a pink cowboy hat...just sayin~) Maybe
it's the feast of new Johnny's...must have fried the old server! The techies apparently could not find
the source of the problem so were having trouble fixing it. Instead, they decided to change our account
and give us a new place to grow on...at their expense~ It always feels good to get something for
free. Our little home has suffered enough!


Be aware that there may be some residual blips so hang in there...we will be cooking on all four burners soon.


I am thinking some lovely caramel sauce...



Even in droopy drawers, caramel is oh so good.

We are off in the morning to move the whelp home from college for the summer. Can you
believe that? She is done second year already. Before long, I will be posting here that we
are moving her back...time and tide, luvs.

Friday already? Hope everyone will have some
down time to relax and enjoy the nice weather
we're finally having.

Got to sleep EARLy last night and was happily
in dreamland when I wokeup to the sound of
birds chirping. I couldn't believe I had actually
slept through the entire night!
But soon, that illusion was promptly explained....
It wasn't birds chirping, but BIRD.
a mockingbird to be exact and I hadn't slept
through the night. The damn feathered jokester
woke me up only after an hours sleep!
so there I lie...listening to umpteen different
bird songs by the one noisy bastard.
So now I look like this

I send my good thoughts out to Wenchie
and Smitty too.
There have been many successful encounters
in these past few days. Johnny has been more
than gracious with coming out after a full day's
work to meet and greet his admirers. So I'm
hopeful that our gals will have that moment too.
