Just popping in quickly to say...

The Proclaimers were fabulous...they indeed sang 500 Miles...the place was
booming, no doubt about it. Hill and I found a place up front (the venue was
set up pub style with an open area in front of the stage) and enjoyed the
show with elbows resting on the stage! FABULOUS time...

Okay...going to my bed now. Feet hurt and ears are humming in that strange,
post-concert buzzy way.

Good Morning and Happy Holey Day.
Posting semi-Sands here for the moment.
Had a FABO time yesterday with ME and Debb
and will be off to breakfast shortly.
The Rolling Stones movie, Shine a Ligh on the IMAX
screen was fantastic and if you love the Stones,
I mean really love the Stones, you will
have the best time. I was dancing in my seat
from the start. I saw Keith in a different way too.
I know and love him for the spirited
musician that he is, but also, naturally, for his association
and connection to Johnny. it was evident that Keith
subtley saluted Johnny and POTC in that he wore
the Sparrow Skull ring as well as a POTC logo pin
on his long duster coat. Very cool.

After the movie, we travled, coincidently,
the Pope's route that was lined with NYC's finest
and other security personnel. Made it in time for our
dinner reservations and spent 4 1/2 hours with good food,
drink and company.

Well off to breakie so will wish you all a
Happy Holey Day!

The occassion is Anzac day...its a day to remember the australian and new zealand (anzac) soldiers that fought in the first world war...at least that is when it started...as a result of the slaughter at Gallipoli I do believe...

Anyway I get Friday off and DH gets Friday morning off so its all good.
