Well, seems like things are winding down
after a white shirted weekend at the Belles.
Dunno why but when I was looking for one
more pic to post...I couldn't get past this one.
It is the hand that always gets to me, eh?

Posting Sands just enough to say good to be back home where I can Depp to my heart's content...have made it thru Thurs and Fri Hut posts but not the Belles, forgive me...thought of you all when I raised my first real glass on Friday night!!

I feel so welcomed back. I honestly was okay being Depp-prived for 3 days but damn it's nice to be bathing my eyeballs in all that wonderfulness again.
Our long weekend seems like it flew by, Vermont was wonderful. Highlights: Seeing a Blue Morpho butterfly landing in DD's lap, and her wonder at the moment and hanging on to that as a top memory of the whole weekend; visiting good, old friends who are still good at making me laugh and who have raised two amazing daughters; the mountains, the mountains, the mountains, all greening and wonderful and making my eyes run like CRAZY the entire time--but who cares; the amazing wonderful energy of hundreds of BC survivors; the decadence of Ben and Jerry's at 11:30 AM; Cider and cider donuts; did I mention the mountains?and that I already miss them???
JJDI knows, it's an ache, you can never feel truly at home without them once you've lived in them... anywho it was allll good. And I am not too tired but it is now time for SJDs.
