WOW that was amazing, I had seen snippits of this interview, but never the whole thing, thanks luv it was a great find. I think it's so cool how Johnny was comfortable with the hand holding thing..not many men can handle affection from other men. I noticed at the SAG screening a few years ago how old men would kiss him on the cheek and he wasn't uncomfortable with it at all...he's so damn sweet.

That was so moving. Thanks for posting it, Choc.
I had read some of this somewhere, but seeing Johnny say it, seeing the emotion, was really something.

Okay, Did anyone else almost cry when Johnny was talking about Allen's passing? I could feel tears in my eyes but I won't let them fall. That was a wonderful interview.....actually it was more than wonderful I just don't have the words to describe it right now. Thanks Choc. Thank you so much.

Yes, I was also deeply moved from this interview.
I think we captured a glimpse of pure Johnny here...
deeply caring for another person the way it
is meant to be. He looked totaly relaxed and in his
element of a kind and loving human being.
This is the side of Johnny we don't see to often
and he drew me in and held me captive in his beautiful
aura.
I believe that this is part of a documentary on the late
Allen Ginsberg, so it is probably available out there.

wow Choco, great find.
Loved the blithering idiot part with his finger on his lips. blableblableblabe. lol. reminded me of Russet somehow.
Now we know who's kitchen he was having the Nescafe in, and a smoke by the window.
I used to do that with my dad when he visited, park him in the kitchen at the open window. Not so easy in the winter on the Prairies in Canada, freeze your lips off trying to blow the smoke out.
That's a goodun, a keeper for sure.
