know what to do and not to do.....

HAH! I can't tell you how much I miss saying that...and it's only been 3 days~

I was having pangs yesterday...wasn't sure why. Maybe there there was something
sent out through the cosmos. I agree that Johnny will make us love Dillinger and it will,
as always, be tough to see him die on screen. I still have trouble losing Jack in DMC...
not even the billowing pants save the ache in my heart.

Anyhow~

Just had brekkie and now are we are waiting for the arrival of Moho and her DH. I
am SOOOO excited. I haven't seen her in 2 years. Can't wait.

Last night, DH and I celebrated our 27th anniversary here in St. Augustine...we
had a fabo dinner...and other stuff. Wine. I meant wine~ And dessert...bananas foster. Delectable.

This morning...it looks glorious out there...all palm trees and sunshine. God, I love it here.

Oh...just for fun and Idzy, you'll appreciate this...you know my weird cat? Mina? The freaky wild killer?
We saw her twin last night, right down to the three rings on her tail...this one paraded past
the restaurant patrons proudly showing off the snake she'd caught hanging out of her lil mouth~
LOL~ Freaks live everywhere.

Have a wonderful day, ladies. I will peek back in a bit later or tomorrow before
we pack up to go to WDW. I won't have internet there...I am not paying Disney
$10 more per day when every other hotel chain down to the budget Super8 offers
free high speed. I am not paying it.

Wow, all kinds of meets, greets, lolllings and general abandon going on the past day or so...good to see! Somehow abandon makes me think of abandon ship and then that leads to thoughts of Jack, who does everything backwards, sideways, downisup...

I've been busy with work and DD homework and the usual round of appointments...but now THREE DAYS OFF from treatments, doctors, etc!!!! Longest break of this kind in over three months, whooohoooo!

Began the celebrating with one glass of each color of wine and a fantastic pizza that housemate snagged at Whole Foods. Who knew they make delicious pizza, and not crazy expensive either...went quite well with the Fat Tree shiraz, yum!
I think I will try this next...

After the wine I cracked my special edition Sweeney DVDs...a birthday present from my brother...the Sondheim interview is gods'
nectar for me, as I am a long time Sondheim fan. No offense meant to our BF but I have loved Mr. Sondheim's work for decades longer ...he's just older is all... And of course had to watch Sweeney in action again...I need a bigger TV, that's all there is to it. The 17" monitor just doesn't do Tim's work justice. But still it was good to see and hear Johnny in this masterwork, god I love this film!!

Okay listen, no decent bar can be out of Baileys so here is some more.

One bottle to replace the absconded one from yesterday. The other for JJDI because I know she lurves the stuff...just don't hike near the ledge after you indulge, dear. One for me and whoever wants to join me 'cuz I haven't had any since October. And one more for the rest of ya--by the way it is great over ice cream, just sayin'. A raise of the glass to Mr. Dillinger's demise, sad it is but Irish wakes are generally a good time so let's give our dear Dilly a good one.

I will spend this weekend avoiding the onslaught of happy-but-lost and/or inebriated/hungover graduates and alumni who have invaded my fair neighborhood for the Brown and RISD graduations. I've invited this guy to guard my driveway...

Since I am under enjoyable house arrest I will spend as much time as possible clearing junk off the porch and putting herbs and flowers in new pots and then lounging with Margarita in hand. Bought a new type of smoother instead of Cointreau the other day at the liquor store owners' reccommendation...a Portugese likker that's 'sposed to taste the same at 1/3 the price...will do careful analysis and report back...but it may take a few days. duhrunk

Forgot to wish Babs and Mr Babs a happy anniversary.

So I am a Foster Mother for the weekend. A rescued kitten that will have
a new home next week but needed a home in the interim. I thought it was the
calico i was getting, but instead this is what arrived...except the ears stand
