Morning dahlings~ It's been a wonderful week here in our beloved coffee shoppe...I am almost sad
that this week of such positive sentiments is drawing to a close. Despite the completion of Johnny's recent
film shoot and the anticipation of a 'dry spell', there is a strong sense of affirmation that we are here for all
the best reasons: connecting daily with one another and keeping Johnny close and at the centre of it all.

It's a long weekend for those 'Merican peoples as they celebrate the birth of their nation...tis also my MIL's
b-day and she always comments on how our US neighbours go all out with their fireworks and partying in her
honour~! Ah well. I don't have the heart to correct her delusion! I hear there is a fresh blueberry pie,
a fridge full of meat and a bag of ice in the offing! Enjoy your weekend, loves. Stay safe.

WTH time is it anyway and why am I here at this
unearthly hour? Who knows, but I made it in, so I
guess that's good.

Cloudy and drizzle in my corner of the woods this
morning but at least the heat isn't here. Might put
a damper on any outdoor BBQs folks were planning.
Not for us though, the DH will BBQ in any weather.
Happily, no big plans for th 4th here....just a quiet
day which I welcome after this past week.

That said, wishing all the Americans a
Happy Independence Day and to everyone else,
a cheery Friday and good weekend.

So, today is the kid's 21 birthday.....We bought
her the digital camcorder.....this afternoon we'll
go to her house for a cookout....her mother and
step father are here and there will be friends over.....

Last night she wanted to have dinner just with the family....
So, we went to a really nice Chinese restaurant....
I am laughing because my DH ate cayenne pepper pods....He
didn't have his glasses on and didn't realize what they were....
He thought they were slices of red bell pepper.....
He put 3 or 4 in his mouth at the same time....poor baby....

Anyway, I am off.....gonna float in the pool and ponder
things....
