Morning ladies. Well, I guess it is afternoon here, only just~

Had a bit of cake meself last evening. Vanilla with custard in
the centre...was delish. Also had a few brews...family
gatherings do that to me.

Okay...LOVING this.

One of those 'no words' kinda deals. Sigh.

Well, SJDs for those already having hit the hay, had to stop in to say our concert went great and the after party was wonderful...we just keep singing since the party was at the home of a choir member who owns a baby grand piano. No one wanted the workshop to end, we all enjoyed the music and each other so much. Good times. I am sooooo tired but it was totally worth it. I will have those tunes in my head for weeks. Can only imagine this is how JD feels about the Florida reunion concert, times a hundred.

Anyone with friends going thru radiation: My rad burn is healing now that I ignored the tech advice to "keep it dry no matter what" and instead slathered aloe on it for half the day and let it air the other half of the day...sheesh, I do not understand how these theories of healing get started. I was going nuts with the non-progress the burn was making, then watched The English Patient last night (speakin' of hot bathtub scenes that film surely has one--just sayin') and the desert healer scenes made me think "aloe slathering seems like it would speed things along" and bingo! Better living through filmviewing. And yes I would love to see Johnny and Mr. Ralph Fiennes act together some day. Two fiercely intelligent talents...

Happy Holey Day and I am throwing in a guitar one in honor of my week of beautiful holy music...heavy doses Tom Petty and gospel, I am now spoiled rotten! Have a great week everyone, I will be scarce appearing since DD returns Tuesday and company arrives Wednesday.
