Morning dahlings~ It's been less than a month since the wrap of PE and we (meaning I) are (am) scraping
the bottom of the ole Babs brain trying to make the best of the Depp drought of 2008.

Couple that with the summer and holidays and doing more stuff out of doors etc etc...some days, this job
just ain't that easy~ I love it, but sometimes, I am like this...

Maybe all we (I) need is to relax and chill...let the drought be what it is and do our best to make lazy while the
summer meanders on by~ Just lay back on the cool grass and watch the sky, the fluffy clouds drifting by and
think pleasant thoughts. Pleasant Johnny thoughts. Cause ya know, when all is said and done...

Isn't it interesting what teaching aids you
can find on YouTube? I've used it a couple of times
myself for tips or directions.

"Buck" trotted through last evening around dusk.
Now that we have had the yard all cleaned and
refreshed with new wood chips down,
he had to forage a bit, but still found a few
crab apples from the old tree in back.
Then, he discovered our neighbor's vegetable
garden. Not sure what he was nibbling on,
but Mrs. Neighbor came out calling "Go Away!".
He did but it was cute to see. I was rooting for him.

Not yet Debb. But it is July 25,
and technically, Christmas in July day.
They said so on the Q. Guess it's time to
stock up on mistletoe.

Well good morning.......its Friday! And, tis good to love
Johnny!!!

Not much going on this morning.....I had a hard time
getting up....hit the clock 2 or 3 times.....somehow, by
the time Friday rolls around, I am out of steam.....

I didn't get a chance to play the song game yesterday, but
I have to say, you guys were rocking!

I don't know if I mentioned this, but we camped last weekend
in St. Mary's Georgia....beautiful campground. On Saturday
we took the ferry over for a 45 minute ride to Cumberland Island.
All I can say, it is beautiful there, but do NOT go in the summer....
Once you are there, you are there for six hours....no stores, no
eateries, nothing.....its you and the land....only 4 bathrooms in
17 miles......bring a back pack with frozen water and sandwiches and prepare to hike around.
The island has wild horses which the forest rangers do not feed or vet.
One side has beaches. The island is 17 miles long, I think, and has
maybe 3 or 4 private residences.....
Anyway, if you get a chance, google it...there is a lot of history there.....
So, the moral of the story, here is a pic or two......

Anyway, was thinking about Johnny....wondering what he
is doing.....enjoying himself I am sure......sure do miss seeing and
hearing about him though........

Funny thing about it being July 25th...I was going to do a Christmas in
July today but just couldn't be bugged to change the flowers to
holly garland in my coffee 'bones.' Talk about your slug~

Good moring ladies. Looks like another quiet day in the Hut. Just a laid back Friday. Of course everyday is like that for me right now, until school starts that is.

Watched Benny and Joon last night, he is just so cute in that movie. Looks like a little boy with his first crush even though he was 29 when he made the movie. How does he stay looking so young when smoking seems to age everybody else?

Hi girls. It's lunchtime for me and now I'm listening to "Control" by Puddle of Mudd just in case you were wondering. Rusty and Moho great pics. Makes me wish a had a decent digital camera. After lunch I plan to vacuum, read, and play my guitar. Oh and just so you know I was looking at guitar song tabs on the internet. Best song every QP! I mean from the band. There are other great songs, but that one great! It's Christmas in July, thought I'd puy our colors together and see what we got. The computer doesn't like me quoting you. Can't put the colors together. waaaah

Right now I'm at my Dad's house. He went to the dentist yesterday and they pulled four teeth on him. He never took care of them when he was younger and he smokes, so dentist trips are not a good thing for him on a normal bases, but they tortured him. So I stayed the night making sure he put ice, and took asprin and the whole lot. He's sleeping right now, cause I know he didn't have a good night after I went to bed.

Rusty! I so tried to post yesterday when you made your return, but then the computer didn't something stupid and I gave up. Cause it was long nicely put together post, and it go wiped. Argue

MoHo that sounds like a great trip. I plan to go to GA in the next couple of years. I'm in the south but not the south south. The further down you go the more pretty it becomes. That's what I thing anyway. Mom and I are going to try to make it to Cape Henry on Sunday. You head on to Fort Story and they have two light houses there. Ones the old one that you can go up, and the other is the new pretty working one. They have a beautiful beach too, but you can't swim cause of the rocks. I'll take pictures if we get to go!! cloud nine
