Come north too JG...the lure of cows as opposed to wild horses should not be
overlooked.
Hi rusty...fabo pics. We have our own beauties, eh? Just without
the Spanish moss and the palm trees~[/color]
Rusty's bovine, you say Babs? Sounds like I'll just have to come and see them.
Best song every QP! I mean from the band. There are other great songs, but that one great!
Which song JG "Toxicity" by System of a Down or "Control" by Puddle of Mudd? Well the
is done. Now I'm off to read and practice. See ya, QP

You might be surprised to hear that an "old lady" like me even knows what your'e talking about, but I like both of those songs. I have to keep up with the current music, my DS's will play it all the time and I like most of it. SOTD was a little hard to me at the first but once you learn what they are really saying it makes more sense. I find that true for most of the metal shit that people say is satanic, if they took the time to learn the words they would see its more like a way to protest the establishment than anything else. Yes, I am a liberal and I hope I will fit right in at the college. The only thing I told my potential roommate about the music is that I prefer not to hear rap, hip-hop, and pop music.
All right, gotta go eat.
ewwww - slug slime
JG - only you would think of that
there was a reason I missed you when you weren't aboot.
please what ever you do do - don't tackle hug me
if there is slug slime on the floors - thanks
MOHO -Love trees - on the Sixth Nation Reserve
where we camped one night there were two huge
old oak trees - the diameter of the trunks had to be well
over a metre...truly amazing for the slow groing oak.
Wilma - at the same site - we had the most
glorious firefly show - hundreds upon hundreds of them
flitting about - even at our feet as we walked.
Not that JOhnny's Cherokee roots are part of the
Sixth Nation but it was a JOhnny moment for
me on the trip.
cc - bossie - LOLOLOL - not you - never!
Be happy your name isn't Agnes Bull
the poor kid I knew who was called that - bloody cruel it was
being teased for being Angus Bull
QP
some inspiration for you
Babs - yes - yes we do have our own beauties

Cow jammies....!! With feet!!!

I was talking about Toxicity. Sorry. I forgot to make that clear when the computer wouldn't quote right for me. I know what you're talking about TADTD, when my best friend first started listening to them around me I didn't really like them, just because of the sound. I listen to a whole lot of rock, the whole satanic thing had never even occured to me. I was raised with rock music. Its funny how our views on the coast differ based on location. hehe.

I mean, someone had to mention it. It's all over the floor. About time someone started cleaning it up actually.
Don't be embaressed. It happens to the best of us.
JG~I think it is great how for once your generation likes a lot of the rock and roll of my generation. I wouldn't have been caught dead listening to my parents music when I was your age (at least not in public or voluntarily). I went to a Styx concert last year and I bought a t-shirt, when I wore it to school I couldn't believe how many kids even know who they were. I listen to a lot of metal when I get a chance, but the old glam rock (Poison, Motley Crue) is great too. I hated SlipKnot the first time I heard them too, but my son bought the cd and after listening to it more I like it. I love the old Metallica, Pantera, stuff like that. Once again, not satanic like a lot of people claimed it to be.
Anyway, gotta go hunnies. My time is up. Have fun in the Belles tonight and I'll see you all there tomorrow.
I've wondered in past why Jack is always
blamed for drinking all the rum
,,,,guess JG and I are too good at pirating the stuff
and as to cleaning up the slug slime -
guess rum guy and I should get on with that
Thanks TAD for clearing up the Giovanni mystery
It's interesting about music and one's likes and dislikes
My kids would never have admitted to their friends
that they really enjoy classical music when they were teenagers
and hadlistened to it since birth
along with rock etc etc etc
same family yet the two have developed very different tastes
DS - Rush;AC/DC
My DD loves Michael Nyman music and such ilk
Go figure!
classical violin with a twist

guess one would call that a fiddler
oh yes I'd love to play fiddler too
in your dreams rusty

On my best friends 14th birthday I think it was, I gave her the only Metallica cd she didn't have. Her Grandmother had come over from the west coast to see them and be there for her birthday, and one of the first things she said right in front of me and her other friends was that she believed Metallica was the devil. Now far be for me to step on anyones beliefs, that's not my problem. It's the fact she said it right in frong of me, which is nice, and the way she said. My best friend and I looked at each other because we couldn't believe she had said, and even to this day she's 18 and I'm 19 now, we laugh at it.
No?
Rusty, I told you never to mention that out loud! gosh! Now everyones going to know and Rum guy will try to find out stash.
We are good though.
Ya'll have a good weekend, I'm going to head off now while the huts still open. I was watching Gone with the Wind, but it's over now. I'll be heading back to Mom's soon, and tomorrow I have to be to work. See you Monday!!!
Love, Love,
JG
