The History of JDa
Johnny Depp Admirers Inc. was formed in December 2002 in preparation of Johnny Depp’s upcoming 2003 gig in Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. Originally intended as a short term HTML coding and learning project for its founder, it began as a simple one page site with a small group of Johnny afficionados that migrated from the 'grandmother' of all the Johnny Depp websites: Johnny Depp Fan.com
As our membership grew, we knew we needed to expand and find a more permanent home which would allow us to provide more information on Johnny's new projects, upcoming events and movies etc.. As well, we knew we needed to dedicate a place for Johnny's complete musical history, as he is always here at Johnny Depp Admirers Inc: a guitarist and musician first.
Now six years after its inception, our website and message forums are now managed by one original and two long-time members of Johnny Depp Admirers Inc. We are a diverse trio and have formed a successful partnership born out of friendship and a common admiration for Johnny Depp. This diversity has allowed us to put our thoughts together and provide our members with a wide variety of unique features and forums. Johnny Depp Admirers Inc. is also home to the original, accurately sourced, complete musical history of Johnny Depp.
The Johnny Depp Admirers Inc. administration continues to be extremely active in our mission to be present and support Johnny in all of his work, events and causes. We believe we have responsibly attempted to meet the standards of a properly structured, non-invasive Johnny information site and will continue to strive to fulfill this purpose.
We believe that Johnny would want us to unite and share his achievements with one another, thereby creating new friendships amongst all of his admirers, no matter which original Depp site affiliation they may have. For us at Johnny Depp Admirers Inc, it isn't about the quantity of our membership; it is about the quality of sharing our mutual respect and admiration for Johnny Depp and his craft.
We bring to you all the past and current pics, information, media clips, interviews, filming updates and news pertaining to anything about Johnny to our forums. We pride ourselves as being one of the few that take the extra care to weed out the tabloid stories found on many other copycat sites and by posting only what we obtain from reputable and verifiable sources. Our respect for Johnny is further conveyed by ensuring that no pictures taken by paparazzi are ever posted in any form and we do not allow any discussions or the posting of any information or photos of his children.
