Morning dahlings~ After seeming to be a standstill for a few weeks, I am a little more on the go
and it's feeling pretty good. Today, I am meeting up with rusty and together, we are visiting with beanie
who is in Toronto for a couple more days. It's always fun to meet one of the sistahs for the first time...

Have to say, the colours up north were disappointing...so I didn't get pics. Our trees have not reached their
peak yet so I still have some time to get a pic or two, just closer to home.

I was pondering away to myself on the car ride and as they often do, my thoughts turned to JDa and the friends
I have made and to the man that hovers in the vincinity of these thoughts. Makes me genuinely happy,
I have to say, to have this lil corner of Deppdom to call our very own. And I say that with absolute sincerity.

It is me... IDZY... I know I have been MIA this weekend. TA to Babsy for opening the bar for you all on Friday nite. And I bet she was on time unlike me...

well my POD is packed and off at some warehouse in a stack of other PODs. Dear Cuz was still packing hers when I left to return to Chico yesterday afternoon. I stuck to my theory of you always want to be the first to move out.

I must tell you other than having to lug all the shit into it ourselves ( ourselves= me doing it alone and kids arguing in the background) I will have to admit i got alot in there and I feel bettah about knowing if It broke it is cause I did it wrong. I also learned my bed weighs twenty bazillion pounds. Even when broken down into pieces. Lord have mercy.

The story of the Little Red Hen comes into play with the entire moving fiasco. At least my DBF came thru and drove 3 hours in the middle of the nite to come help me finish up in the rain, sleep on the floor with me and my two cats and dog in an empty cold room and then bring Kelli and I back to Chico. Yeah I am back here again.. don't ask. Everything is fine... just my Dear cuz dropped the house ball and we didn't have anything in time so I decided, exectuve decision style to go back to Jims and stay here possibly indefinately. I have not quite made up my mind yet as to what my next move will be. After all... my BF is here now too.
oh what to do??? what to do !!

( plus I have two hecka good graphic design job possibilities at toilet town.. that I cannot refuse)

Kk is heading to Vegas ~ wonder if she's at the airport
yet? Wishin' her well and G'luck on the slots! She has
needed this get-away so very much.

I've already brought my checkbook up to date and
paid the electric bill (wtf is up with THAT $$$) and the
cell bill. Have to throw some meat into the slow-cooker
and, I guess, get to makin' that apple pie that I didn't do
yesterday. I was up on a ladder putting the finishing coat
of paint on the front entry. H put the lamps back up and
I have to say, it looks nice.

I did tell 'im that the lights look "off" REG

He ran a got his
tape measure...sure enough, one was lower by 5/8 inch.
HAH hahaha. Sorry. I can live with it. ( I guess) He worked
so hard on this project.

So, tis my do nuttin day. . .which ends up being a do
somethin' day, anyway. Usually.

yucky day, my mood matches my weather.
Started out yelling at my kids and it didn't stop til I dropped them off at
school. I hate it when that happens. Now I gotta figure out how to make it better.

Have fun with beanie! By the way rusty, I have been marinating my
grape tomatoes everyday and having them for dinner. I like mine even
better than those we had at that bar.

Idz, not sure how you do it. I'm with rusty on the moving. Once in a lifetime
is enough for me.

cc... about the pies, my kid, the eldest calls me last night, and says "since I'm coming home for Thanksgiving can we make pies, like we used to, instead of buying them like you do now" sheeeit. So I guess I too shall be spending this Sunday baking fricking pumpkin and apple, her favourites, not mine, cause I work all day on the Monday which is the actual Thanksgiving. Shall have to prepare bird day before as well so NSDH just has to chuck it in the oven and make his famous mashed tatoes. Still no furnace on by the way.

Safely put another load of stuff down at my mum's yesterday
and watched a French movie at the theater "Il y a longtemps que je t'aime"
about two sisters reconnecting after the older has been in prison for 15 years, accused of murdering her son.

Stopped by a bookshop - just quickly REG - ended up with three new books of course -
didn't mean to, but couldn't resist -
and got hooked on the one "Conversations with God - an unusual dialogue"
though provoking for sure - couldn't put it down -

Wilma, I had a MajorMotherMeltdown at my boy the other
night. I was so angry~all the little stuff I overlook...you know the
stuff "they" talk about when "they" say, choose your battles? Well,
all that stuff built up, finally, and Mama Blew (Look out! she's gonna
blow!!) Sadly, as I was sputtering, literally, the only thing I
could think to say in the end was, "you really piss me off" Sad banana

Wow. How effective, eh?

Oh well. He realized, tho...that his laziness has come to an end!

I know that feeling of trying to make it right. But on the other
hand...doncha think the boys need to have a tug of conscience
and think what they might do to make it right?
