The ordinary arts we practice every day at home
are of more importance to the soul than their
simplicity might suggest.
~ Sir Thomas More

Well, I am the coffee brewer this morn. Babsy is out and about and you know me…
I’m just always ready to jump in.
So, we have Kk in Vega$ and the beans
is on the last leg of her tour ~ which is flyin’ by.
Idzy has been carried to Chico by her knight and
I’m glad about that. Rest a bit now, Idzea…
you need some shakedown time!
We’ve been busy at my house trying to weatherize
things a bit more…pluggin up leaks. Least I won’t
have gales blowing in my west facing windows this
year…thanks to Marvin hehehe.
None too soon...the heavy frosts warnings are upon us.
BUT (is there always a but???)

I’m thinking that for today, we might begin to segue
from the “summertime” movie matinees and suggest
we have Johnny with his scarves . . .
Tis all you need sometimes, to ward off a chill, eh Wilma?
That and a few good friends…

The coffee is on ladies…my sweet ladies ~ and it IS hot.
Guaranteed to keep the Fall chill at bay.
Amazing to think of all the characters living within ~

Happy Birthday to our Mo’s Sugs…
a great guy for our great girl!

- yes, yes I do that sometimes and enjoy it greatly
- what a wonderful day.

Anywho, Moho, tell your man happy birthday. I gotta post my pics and get dressed. My roommate just brought her winter clothes to school yesterday. How depressing!

she says "its your eldest dd, you know the one" (she is a bit of a smartass, have no idea where she gets it) "I am making those porkchops you make me that I love, I'm supposed to put the milk in first right," umm, no, no milk, just the mushroom soup, no liquid"ahhh, then I've just wrecked my dinner, can't I fix it" umm , no just use a spoon or a straw. Thankfully she was only cooking for herself so nobody has to know about her lil cooking fauxpas, well except youse guyz. Hey at least she was making something besides grilled cheese or Kraft Dinner.
